Critical history of ICT in Education

“Learning with computers is not about programming or drill and practice, nor about multimedia, nor about fast updating or cost-efficiency – it is all about people sharing ideas.”

This is the conclusion of an interesting article on the history of ICT in education. Nothing new, but the article gives us a brief overview of what happened since the late 1970s. On top of that it gives us some ideas on where we are heading. Interested? Read it here.
